If your planning a trip to the Peterborough Beer Festival at the end of this month then why not pop in and try one of the 350 draft ales on offer (including Sticklegs Malt Shovel Mild & Sticklegs Prizefighter) at this huge event!
After the stunning success of the Sticklegs Malt Shovel Mild at beer festivals across the UK an expansion programme has begun.
Sticklegs has now brought the equipment of the Wonky Dog brewery and plans to increase its capacity to either a two or three barrel operation. This will enable Sticklegs to supply more pubs and enter more beer festivals in the coming years. It is hoped that the new plant will be up and running by mid August.
I for one cannot wait to see the new plant in operation and I will be sure to upload some photos as soon as possible.
Following on from our fantastic result at The Harlequin beer festival in Sheffield I am pleased to announce that Sticklegs Malt Shovel Mild has won the ‘Beer of the Festival’ at this years CAMRA Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival.
Full details of the event are availiable on the Colchester CAMRA website.
Sticklegs Malt Shovel Mild has won the ‘Beer of the Festival’ award at the Early Spring Beer Festival at The Harlequin in Sheffield.
This surprise result comes out of the blue to Tom, our head brewer, who simply didn’t believe that you could win such an accolade at your first beer festival.
Well Tom you proved yourself wrong!
